University of East Anglia Overview
The University of East Anglia (UEA) is an internationally renowned university based in a campus which provides world-class academic, social and cultural facilities to over 15,000 students from more than 100 countries.

University of East Anglia Services for International Students
The International Student Advisory Team provides information, support and advice to all international students and their families throughout their time at UEA.
A pre-departure guide provides useful and practical details about obtaining a visa and travelling to Norwich and the campus. During arrival week, the Student Advice Team will organise orientation programmes, hold events, and offer the opportunity to apply for a UK buddy through the UEA Friends scheme to help settle into university life.
There is a programme of social events and trips throughout the year, and all international students are kept up to date with important news and advice through the International Student email list. The Advisory Team maintains close links with organisations such as the Home Office and the British Council to ensure that the concerns and needs of East Anglia's international student community are well represented.

University of East Anglia Accommodation
New international students applying before the deadline are guaranteed UEA accommodation, with a wide range of options and more than 3,000 rooms. The University of East Anglia offers some of the best value university accommodation in the UK, offering both en suite bedrooms and shared bathrooms, each with its own kitchen and dining area.
Private rented accommodation in Norfolk is available, as well as homestays with English families living nearby.
University of East Anglia Location
UEA is a campus university set across 300 acres of rolling parkland just two miles from the city centre of Norwich. The campus and its grounds offer plenty of green spaces to study, explore or enjoy the beauty of the parkland, woods and Broad lake.
UEA is easily reached by road, rail and air. Norwich International Airport serves it well and is less than two hours by train from London. The city is a major regional centre that attracts thousands of weekly visitors to enjoy shopping and social activities. The University of East Anglia is located on the southwest side of the city, just 15 minutes from the centre, and is served by regular bus services throughout the day and night. Norwich airport has connecting links to many major UK airports, taking 10-15 minutes upon arrival to reach the university campus.
