ABOUT THE POSITONThe teaching assignment may be at the Liberal Arts campus, the Pacific Coast campus or other college teaching locations. The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online or off campus and is subject to change as needed. Part-time faculty positions are as needed positions and do not accrue rights to tenure. Qualifications

• Any bachelor's degree or higher and two years professional experience or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.• Professional experience from any of the following areas is required:Graphic Design, 2D animation, 3D animation, Game Design, Illustration, Character Design, Concept Art, Comic Art, Visual Communications, Printing, Merchandise, Typography, Branding, Advertising, Art Direction, Creative Direction, Motion Graphics, Web/App Design, Multimedia OR• A Master's Degree in Art, Studio Art, Digital Art, Game Design, Animation, Graphics or GraphicDesign, Web Design, Multimedia, Media Arts, 4D Art or Illustration
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSWe are looking for a time based and/or interactive media generalist to teach an introductory survey course on time based and interactive media. Should also be able to teach fundamental concepts of video, animation, and interactive media as well.
• Previous community college teaching experience.• Adobe Animate• Adobe Premiere• Adobe After Effects• Adobe Audition (may be switching to Reaper in the next year or so)• Maya• Unity• Twine
